Last week I continued to work on my game and made some progress (hopefully) with finding a mentor. My tech teacher suggested somebody and I plan to talk to him soon. In my game learned that if you edit your characters from the level and not the character select it only affects them in that level so I had to go back and edit some of  my characters from the character select. It is nice to know this because I can now change a character to act differently in a specific level if I wanted to without changing it overall. Right now I am trying to figure out how to make it so there is a special screen that pops up if you die or win a level. Also from the death screen I want to make it so you can restart the level by pressing a button. Next week I plan to have my mentor and create more levels so I can have at least Ten levels by the time this project is due.

Hi this past week I was able to finish my first level and start my next one. Right now I am working on the second level. This next week I should be able to knock out a few more levels real easy because gamesalad lets me use characters I have already created in all my levels so they are not tied to one specific level. I am still searching for a mentor I have tried so many people it seams impossible that I haven't been able to get one yet but I will continue to search. My teacher also reminded me that another one of my other teachers is a video game guy so I will ask him if he is able or if he knows anyone that could tomorrow during class. I am confident that he will be able to help me solve my problem with finding someone willing to be my mentor.

Hey guys, it is me again. So this week I have asked some more developers to be my mentor so far no responses. I am still using facebook and email to find and message them but I have not gotten any responses. I also started to get comfortable with how gamesalad works. I have learned how to make characters move with key presses and move on their own to different places at different speeds. I have also learned how to make it so characters can collide with each other and when they collide the player is destroyed. So far I've made a level for dodging blocks that destroy your character but next week I will expand on that and make an end to the level and start working on the next one. Also next week i plan to make the storyboard for the final project. I hope to make a total of Fifteen to twenty levels for people to play through.
